UGREEN NASync DXP2800 sistema NAS 2 vani con 2 × Western Digital 8TB WD80EFPX

UGREEN NASync DXP2800 is a 2-bay NAS storage server delivered with two Western Digital 8TB WD80EFPX hard drives, ready for immediate deployment in home and small office environments. The system offers centralized file storage, continuous access to multimedia and documents, and options for data redundancy across its two drive bays. The compact chassis and preinstalled drives simplify setup and reduce time-to-use for backup, media streaming and shared file access.

Advantages

The NAS provides a balanced combination of storage capacity and simplicity: two 8TB drives offer large raw capacity suitable for long-term file retention while the two-bay design supports basic redundancy configurations. Preinstalled Western Digital NAS drives are optimized for 24/7 operation and vibration control, reducing the need for immediate drive selection. The compact form factor and integrated server functions enable continuous network access to files, automated backups, and multimedia streaming without additional drive purchases.

Suitable for

• Home media libraries and personal file backups
• Small office file sharing and centralized document storage
• Automated backup targets for desktop and laptop systems
• Private cloud storage and remote access to files

Key specifications

• Drive bays: 2-bay enclosure supporting two 3.5" hard drives
• Included storage: 2 × 8 TB Western Digital NAS-class hard drives
• Form factor: compact desktop NAS chassis designed for horizontal placement
• Drive type: SATA 3.5" NAS hard drives optimized for continuous operation
• Redundancy support: configurable for single-drive or mirrored (RAID 1) operation
• Network connectivity: Gigabit Ethernet (device supports standard LAN integration)
• Cooling: active cooling with internal fan and vibration management for multi-drive use

How to use

Install the NAS in a well-ventilated location near your network router or switch and connect it to power and LAN. Power on the unit and follow the manufacturer’s initial setup procedure using the web-based or application setup tool shipped with the device. Configure storage options to use both drives as either independent volumes or as a mirrored RAID 1 array for redundancy. Create network shares and user accounts, enable backup tasks and set up remote access or media server functions as needed. Regularly update the NAS firmware and management software to maintain security and compatibility.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, place the NAS on a stable, vibration-free surface with adequate airflow around the chassis. Configure RAID 1 if data redundancy is a priority, and schedule regular backups to an external device or cloud service. Monitor drive health through the NAS management interface and replace any drive showing warning signs. Keep firmware and drive firmware current and avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures or high humidity.
