Unità DVD-RW interna/esterna Lenovo 9mm ultra-sottile modello 5DX0J46488 alimentata via USB

Lenovo 9mm Ultra-thin DVD-RW drive (USB powered) is an optical drive designed for reading and writing standard CD and DVD media. The unit provides a slim 9mm profile suitable for systems that accept ultra-thin slot-in drives or for use externally via a USB connection. It supports basic media playback, data backup and disc authoring tasks, offering a compact option for users who need occasional optical disc access without a dedicated internal drive bay or separate power adapter.

Advantages

The drive’s 9mm ultra-thin form factor reduces space requirements and allows installation in compatible slim bays or convenient external use. USB power eliminates the need for an additional power supply, simplifying connection to laptops and desktops. Optical read/write functionality covers a wide range of CD and DVD formats for media playback, data archiving and disc creation. The design focuses on straightforward compatibility and portable operation.

For internal installation in systems that accept a 9mm slim slot-in optical drive, follow the device- and system-specific installation steps and safety precautions outlined by the computer manufacturer. Once connected, the operating system should detect the drive automatically and allow access through the file manager or media player for reading, writing or disc authoring tasks.

Recommendations

Use good-quality blank discs from reputable manufacturers for reliable burning and archiving. Handle discs by the edges and store them in protective cases to avoid scratches. When burning discs, avoid interrupting the USB connection and use appropriate software settings for the chosen media type. For internal installations, verify system compatibility with a 9mm ultra-thin drive and follow anti-static and mounting guidelines.
