Valigia rigida B&W Cases Type 5000 giallo

The B&W Cases Type 5000 Yellow is a durable hard case for protecting photographic and electronic equipment. The case shell is made of polypropylene and the included RPD (reconfigurable padded divider) provides fully configurable padded partition inserts made of washable, heavy-duty nylon fabric with Velcro attachments. The lid contains egg-crate foam for full, shock-resistant protection. The case is dustproof, watertight and very sturdy, with stackable design and an automatic air pressure compensation valve. It is rated for temperatures from -40° to +80° C and comes with a 30-year guarantee.

How to use

Open the case using the two latches and arrange the RPD padded partitions to fit your equipment by repositioning the Velcro-mounted dividers. Place fragile items into the compartments created and close the lid so the egg-crate foam mates with the top layer for additional shock protection. Use the padded handle for carrying; optional accessories such as a carrying strap, backpack system or lid pocket can be attached if required. The automatic pressure compensation valve equalises pressure during altitude or temperature changes—no manual action is needed.

Recommendations

Store items dry and clean before packing. Rinse the washable nylon dividers with mild soap and water and allow to dry fully before reinserting. Inspect latches and the pressure valve periodically to ensure watertight performance. Do not expose the case to prolonged direct heat sources beyond the specified temperature range.
