Vision Techconnect Modulo booster HDMI 2m HDMI Type-A femmina nero bianco

The Vision Techconnect HDMI Booster Module 2m HDMI Type A Female (Black White) is a compact in-wall connectivity module designed for integration into Vision's Techconnect faceplate system. The module contains an active booster circuit that draws power from the HDMI cable to amplify the signal. It supports HDMI 2.0 and 3D, and is intended to improve video and audio transmission quality for home theatre, gaming and professional AV installations while fitting into standard Techconnect surrounds for modular replacement and upgrades.

Advantages

The active booster extends reliable HDMI performance by amplifying the signal using power available on the HDMI line, helping to achieve 4K @ 60 Hz with output cable lengths up to 15 m in most source and display combinations. The module is compatible with Vision Techconnect surrounds and faceplates, allowing single-module replacement or reconfiguration without changing the full plate. The robust design includes reinforcement where required to withstand regular use, and the black-and-white finish provides a neutral appearance suitable for a range of interior setups.

Suitable for

• Home theatre systems requiring a tidy in-wall HDMI connection
• Gaming consoles and media players where higher bandwidth and 3D support are needed
• Conference rooms and professional AV installations using Techconnect faceplates
• Retrofit or new-build installations that benefit from modular faceplate components

Key specifications

• HDMI standard supported: HDMI 2.0 with 3D support
• Connector type: HDMI Type A female (module end)
• Booster type: Active booster circuit powered by HDMI cable
• Recommended output cable support: up to 15 m (49 ft) at 4K @ 60 Hz with most sources and displays
• Module length (cable): 2 m
• Finish: black and white housing to match Techconnect surrounds
• Mounting: fits Vision Techconnect surround and faceplate system

How to use

Install the module into a compatible Vision Techconnect surround fixed to the chosen backbox, mudring or table faceplate. Connect the module's HDMI Type A female end to an HDMI cable leading to the display or source as required, and use a short, high-quality HDMI input cable from the source to the faceplate to maximise the chance of achieving 4K @ 60 Hz. Ensure cables are fully seated and that connected devices support the desired video and audio formats. Test the setup with the intended source and display combination to confirm performance, particularly when aiming for 60 Hz output.

Recommendations

Use high-quality HDMI cables for both input and output; shorter input cables help achieve 4K @ 60 Hz. If 60 Hz is not achieved, try different source or display modes, replace cables with Vision-recommended cables, and verify device compatibility before committing to a permanent installation. Modules can be replaced individually within a Techconnect faceplate to adapt or repair installations.
