Vite Cimco 190433, vite autofilettante zincata, lunghezza 16 mm, diametro filettatura 4,8 mm, 1 pezzo

Single Cimco 190433 screw made of galvanized metal for sheet‑metal applications. The screw measures 16 mm in length with a 4.8 mm thread diameter and is supplied as one piece. Its galvanised surface provides basic corrosion resistance suitable for indoor and some sheltered outdoor uses. The screw is intended for fastening thin metal sheets and similar components in repair, assembly and installation tasks.

Advantages

The galvanized finish reduces the risk of rusting in environments with moderate humidity, extending service life compared with untreated fasteners. The 4.8 mm thread diameter gives sufficient clamping strength for thin sheet materials while the 16 mm length is suitable for joining single or stacked thin panels without protruding excessively. Supplied as a single unit, this item is suitable for one-off repairs or to replenish small stocks during maintenance work.

How to use

Select a matching pilot hole size or pre‑drill if required for the material thickness to ensure correct engagement of the thread. Position the screw through the sheet and into the mating component, then drive using a compatible screwdriver or power driver with the correct bit type and torque setting to avoid stripping the head or over‑compressing the material. For multiple fastenings, check alignment and spacing before final tightening.

Recommendations

Use in environments with limited exposure to saltwater or aggressive chemicals; for highly corrosive or marine conditions choose a stainless steel or specially coated fastener. Store dry and handle with appropriate protective equipment when working with sharp sheet edges.
