Viti Rittal SZ 2504.500 M6, lunghezza 12 mm, finitura metallica, confezione da 300

Rittal SZ 2504.500 are pack of 300 connecting screws designed for M6 threaded applications. Each screw has a 12 mm shank length, a metallic finish and weighs about 4 g. These screws are intended for mechanical joining in enclosures, panels and general mounting tasks where a reliable M6 fastener is required. The multi-tooth drive profile improves torque transmission and extends tool life during tightening and loosening operations.

Advantages

The metallic finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for indoor industrial environments and assembly work. A consistent 12 mm length and standardized M6 thread ensure compatibility with common mounting holes and threaded inserts. The multi-tooth drive increases contact area with the driver, reducing cam-out and improving safety and reliability when securing components. Supplied in bulk pack of 300, the set supports larger installation and maintenance jobs with fewer interruptions for restocking.

How to use

Select screws matching the M6 thread and 12 mm length for the thickness of the mating parts and any washers or spacers used. Use an appropriate multi-tooth compatible driver bit or socket to engage the drive fully and apply torque evenly. Tighten screws to the torque recommended for the specific application and material to avoid thread damage or deformation. When installing in enclosures, confirm that the screw length clears internal components and provides the required clamp without protruding excessively.

Recommendations

Store the screws in a dry environment to preserve the metallic finish and prevent surface oxidation. For critical electrical or outdoor applications, verify material compatibility and consider additional corrosion protection if required. Keep a stock of spare screws to maintain installation efficiency during larger projects.
