Piastra per testa treppiede Mantona 21466

The Mantona 21466 tripod head plate is an aluminum accessory engineered to provide a stable connection between camera and tripod head. With a slim profile and black finish, the plate balances low weight with structural rigidity to support routine photographic setups. Its dimensions—200 mm long, 38 mm wide and 10 mm high—offer a broad contact area for secure mounting while remaining compact enough for travel and quick handling.

Advantages

The aluminum construction ensures corrosion resistance and consistent strength without adding significant weight. The longer plate surface increases contact area with the camera base and head clamp, improving alignment and reducing play. A low-profile 10 mm height keeps the camera closer to the tripod axis for better balance. The black finish minimises reflections and maintains a professional appearance on set.

Suitable for

• Photographers who use ball heads, pan-tilt heads or quick-release clamps that accept long plates
• Studio and field work requiring stable, repeatable mounting
• Travel photographers needing a lightweight, durable plate
• Situations where extended contact area improves balance for heavier lenses or rigs

Key specifications

• Material: aluminum alloy for a balance of strength and lightness
• Length: 200 mm
• Width: 38 mm
• Height/thickness: 10 mm
• Finish: matte black surface to reduce glare
• Weight: lightweight design suitable for carry and frequent mount/dismount

How to use

Attach the plate to the camera base using the camera’s tripod thread and secure it firmly. Slide the mounted camera into the tripod head clamp or quick-release mechanism until it engages, then tighten the clamp according to the tripod head manufacturer’s instructions. Check alignment and balance by adjusting the plate position within the head clamp if the head allows lateral movement. When detaching, release the clamp and remove the camera-plate assembly carefully to avoid sudden drops.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the plate and mounting threads for wear or deformation, and ensure screws are tightened to the recommended torque for your camera to prevent loosening during use. Use compatible clamps designed to accept long plates to achieve full contact and optimal stability.
