Adattatore cavo Goobay 74398 USB 3.0 Type-A a RJ45 7,5 m nero argento

The Goobay 74398 Cable Gender Changer is a 7.5 m USB 3.0 Type A to RJ45 cable designed to connect a router, modem or network switch to a laptop or tablet that has a USB-A port but no built-in Ethernet jack. The cable integrates a smart chip in the USB plug that provides immediate Ethernet functionality without the need for a separate RJ45-to-USB adapter or additional drivers. Connectors are nickel-plated and the product is finished in black and silver.

Advantages

This USB 3.0 Type A to RJ45 cable provides a straightforward wired network connection for USB-A devices, supports high-speed data transfer over a 7.5 m length, and eliminates the need for an external adapter by using an integrated smart chip. Nickel-plated connectors improve durability and corrosion resistance, while the cable’s length offers flexibility in device placement.

Suitable for

• Connecting a router, modem or network switch to a laptop or tablet with a USB-A port
• Establishing a wired Ethernet connection where a device lacks an RJ45 port
• Home or office setups that require a longer reach between device and network equipment

How to use

Plug the USB 3.0 Type A end into the USB-A port of your laptop or tablet. Connect the RJ45 end to a router, modem or network switch. The built-in smart chip should enable Ethernet access immediately; if your operating system prompts for drivers, follow the system’s installation instructions. Position the cable to avoid tight bends and secure any excess length to reduce strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the cable on devices that support USB 3.0 for optimal throughput. Avoid running the cable parallel to power cords to reduce potential interference, and store the cable coiled without sharp bends when not in use.
