Cavo patch Goobay CAT 6 S/FTP PiMF grigio 5 m

The Goobay CAT 6 Patch Cable (S/FTP PiMF) in grey, 5 m long, is designed for reliable high-speed network connections. It uses high-quality inner conductors, robust sheathing and RJ-45 plugs with gold plating to support data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, making it suitable for home and small office wiring where stable Ethernet connectivity is required.

Advantages

This CAT 6 S/FTP (PiMF) patch cable provides shielded pairs for reduced interference, precise RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for improved contact and corrosion resistance, and a durable outer jacket that protects against mechanical stress. The 5 m length offers flexibility for typical desktop and rack connections while maintaining consistent signal quality.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes
• Small office and SOHO networks
• Connecting switches, routers, PCs and NAS devices
• Patch panels and structured cabling installations

How to use

Connect one end of the patch cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device (router, switch or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain that could compromise shielding or conductor integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT 6 S/FTP cable in environments with potential electromagnetic interference and keep cable runs within recommended distances for Gigabit Ethernet. Avoid running parallel to power cables to minimize signal degradation.
