Wentronic Goobay Cavo prolunga alimentazione DC 2,5 mm, 10 m – per alimentatore (71402)

When your low-voltage device sits just beyond the reach of its original power adapter, this 10-metre DC extension cable steps in to bridge the gap. It is built for CCTV installers, LED lighting technicians, and anyone who needs to route 12 V DC power from a wall adapter to a camera, strip light, or small appliance without moving the power source. Simply plug the 5.5 mm barrel plug into your existing adapter’s socket, connect the other end to your device, and the extra length gives you the freedom to position equipment exactly where it is needed.

Why choose it

The 2.5 mm inner diameter matches a wide range of common power adapters, making this cable a versatile spare or extension for many 12 V devices. The 10-metre length eliminates the need for multiple short extensions or risky splicing. The black PVC jacket blends into dark corners, cable ducts, or behind equipment, keeping installations tidy. CCA conductors offer a good balance of conductivity and flexibility at an economical price, and the round profile makes the cable easy to route through clips or conduits.

Ideal use cases

• Extending the reach of CCTV camera power supplies
• Powering LED strip lighting in long runs or across rooms
• Connecting small 12 V appliances, routers, or audio devices to a distant adapter
• Replacing a short or damaged DC cable on a power adapter
• Professional AV and security installations where neat cable management is required

Good to know

This is a passive extension cable; it does not convert voltage or increase power output. Ensure your power adapter’s plug has a 5.5 mm outer diameter and 2.5 mm inner diameter to fit correctly. The maximum current rating of 2 A means it is suitable for devices drawing up to 24 W at 12 V. For outdoor use, protect the connectors from moisture. The cable is not shielded for data transmission.
