WESTERN DIGITAL disco fisso – WD Gold WD8005FRYZ – 8 TB – SATA 6 Gbit/s – 3,5 pollici – 7200 giri/min – 256 MB buffer

The Western Digital Gold WD8005FRYZ is an internal 3.5" Serial ATA III hard drive with 8 TB capacity, 7200 RPM spindle speed and a 128 MB buffer. Designed for enterprise-class storage systems, this HDD targets heavy-application workloads and provides improved reliability and vibration protection for demanding data-center and NAS environments.

Advantages

WD Gold drives offer up to 2.5 million hours MTBF and are engineered for continuous operation, with HelioSeal® technology lowering power consumption for higher-capacity models and enhanced vibration protection electronics to maintain performance in high-vibration enclosures. The drive is broadly compatible with enterprise operating systems and supports workload ratings suitable for heavy use.

Suitable for

• Enterprise and data‑center storage arrays
• High-capacity NAS and SAN systems
• Workloads with frequent reads/writes and heavy I/O
• Backup, archiving and long-term storage solutions
