WESTERN DIGITAL SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe - 512GB Chiavetta USB - USB TYPE-C / USB 3.1

The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe is a 2-in-1 all-metal USB flash drive with 512 GB capacity and both USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors. Designed to move files between USB Type-C smartphones, tablets and Macs and USB Type-A computers, the drive uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also marketed as USB 3.1 Gen 1) for fast transfers and features a stainless steel swivel housing and a keyring hole for portability.

Advantages

The drive provides dual connectors for compatibility with modern USB Type-C devices and legacy USB Type-A ports, enabling easy file transfer without adapters. With up to 150 MB/s read speeds over USB 3.2 Gen 1, it accelerates copying large photos and videos. The metal swivel design protects the connectors in transit and the durable stainless steel finish offers a compact, pocketable solution. A keyring hole allows the drive to be attached to keys or bags for quick access.

Suitable for

• Transferring photos and videos between USB Type-C smartphones/tablets and USB Type-A computers
• Freeing up storage on mobile devices by offloading files
• Transporting documents, media and backups when on the move

How to use

Plug the appropriate connector (USB Type-C or USB Type-A) into your device. Use your device’s file manager or the SanDisk Memory Zone app on supported smartphones to move or back up photos, videos, music and documents to the drive. When copying to a computer, connect the drive to a USB Type-A or Type-C port and transfer files normally. After transfer completes, safely eject the drive before removal.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, format the drive using your device’s recommended file system if you need compatibility with specific platforms, and keep the swivel cap closed to protect the connectors. Regularly back up important files rather than storing the only copy on the flash drive.
