WESTERN DIGITAL SanDisk Ultra Fit - 32GB Chiavetta USB - USB 3.1

The SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 flash drive provides compact, high-speed external storage for laptops, tablets, TVs, gaming consoles and car audio systems. Its low-profile "plug-and-stay" design lets you add extra capacity and leave the drive connected, while USB 3.1 performance enables fast transfer of large files.

Advantages

The drive offers USB 3.1 speeds with up to 130 MB/s read performance, compact plug-and-stay form factor and backward compatibility with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Included software options let you encrypt sensitive files with 128-bit AES and recover accidentally deleted files via a RescuePRO Deluxe download offer.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 3.1 (backward-compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0)
• Read speed: up to 130 MB/s
• Write speed: up to ~15x faster than standard USB 2.0 drives (manufacturer comparison)

• Security software: SanDisk SecureAccess with 128-bit AES encryption
• Recovery software: RescuePRO Deluxe (download offer)

How to use

Insert the SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 drive into a compatible USB port on your device. For best transfer speeds, use a USB 3.1 or 3.0 port. To protect files, install and run the SanDisk SecureAccess software included on the drive and create a password-protected vault; drag and drop files into the vault to encrypt them. To recover deleted files, follow the RescuePRO Deluxe download and installation instructions provided with the drive.

Recommendations

Use the drive as semi-permanent additional storage in devices where a low-profile connector is preferred. For maximum transfer speed, connect to a USB 3.1/3.0 port and avoid using hubs that do not support SuperSpeed. Regularly back up important data and keep your SecureAccess password in a safe place.
