WIHA 01396 chiave a brugola con testa sferica 3 mm, cromata opaca, gambo lungo 128 mm, gambo corto 23 mm

The WIHA 01396 L-key with ball end stands apart from standard hex keys by combining a matte chrome-plated finish with a precisely machined ball tip that permits off-axis engagement up to 25°. This makes it the go-to choice for reaching socket screws in confined or awkward positions where a straight hex key would slip or fail to seat. The 3 mm size is one of the most frequently used in electronics, machinery, and precision assembly, and this key's through-hardened chrome-vanadium steel ensures it resists rounding even under repeated high-torque use.

Highlights

• Ball end allows angled access up to 25° for hard-to-reach screws
• Matte chrome plating provides excellent corrosion resistance and a secure grip
• Through-hardened chrome-vanadium steel for maximum durability and torque transfer
• Precision-machined hex profile ensures a snug fit, reducing cam-out and screw damage
• Complies with ISO 2936L for dimensional accuracy and performance
• L-shaped design with long arm 128 mm and short arm 23 mm for versatile leverage

In daily use

Whether you are tightening a socket-head cap screw inside a machine housing or adjusting a component on a drone or RC model, this L-key delivers the reach and control you need. The long arm provides ample torque for initial loosening or final tightening, while the short arm offers quick spinning in open areas. The matte chrome surface not only protects against rust but also reduces glare under workshop lighting, making it easier to see the fastener. Its compact size and lightweight construction mean it slips easily into a pocket, tool roll, or the included slot in many WIHA sets.
