Wirewin SLIM SL6 1.5 WS cavo patch Cat.6 U/FTP Slim-Light, 1,5m, bianco PKW-LIGHT-STP-K6 1.5 WS

Bulky network cables can clutter your desk, block airflow, and make cable management a nightmare. The SLIM WIREWIN SLIM SL6 1.5 WS solves this with an ultra-thin Cat.6 patch cable that delivers full Gigabit performance in a space-saving design. Its 3.8 mm outer diameter is roughly half that of a standard Cat.6 cable, letting you route it through tight spaces, behind furniture, or along baseboards without unsightly tangles.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for IT professionals, office workers, and home users who need reliable high-speed networking in cramped environments. Whether you're connecting a PC to a wall outlet, linking a switch to a patch panel, or tidying up a server rack, the slim profile and snagless boot make installation quick and frustration-free. It's also perfect for high-density setups where every millimetre of space counts.

Main features

• Cat.6 performance with up to 250 MHz bandwidth and 1 Gbps data transfer
• U/FTP shielding: each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded for superior crosstalk resistance
• Slim-Light design with only 3.8 mm outer diameter for easy routing in tight spaces
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors ensure corrosion resistance and reliable contact
• Snagless boot protects the locking tab from accidental breakage during installation
• Stranded copper conductors (AWG 28/7) provide flexibility without sacrificing signal integrity
• Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, 4PPoE) for powering devices like IP cameras and access points
• Durable PVC jacket in clean white colour blends with any environment

Tips

To maximise performance, avoid sharp bends tighter than four times the cable diameter (about 15 mm). When bundling multiple slim cables, use Velcro straps instead of zip ties to prevent pinching the jacket. For PoE applications, ensure your power sourcing equipment (PSE) is compatible with the connected device's power class. This cable is backward compatible with Cat.5e and Cat.5 networks, so you can upgrade gradually without replacing your entire infrastructure.
