Unlike bulkier desktop drives, this model draws power directly from the USB bus, eliminating the need for an external power supply and making it a practical companion for notebooks and ultrabooks.

Highlights

• Dual connectivity: USB-A and USB-C (adapter included) for compatibility with a wide range of devices
• Slim, lightweight design for easy portability
• USB-powered—no external power adapter required
• Plug & Play operation with Windows and macOS
• Reads and writes both DVD and CD formats

In daily use

Whether backing up data, installing software, or playing media, the Xlyne 570502 handles common DVD and CD tasks with ease. The included USB-A to USB-C adapter ensures you can connect to newer laptops that lack a standard USB-A port.
