Zebra 2300 nastro a trasferimento termico wax 450 m nero

The Zebra 2300 Wax thermal ribbon in black is a wax-based consumable intended for thermal transfer printing of labels and tags. With a length of 450 m and a width of 13.1 cm, the ribbon supports extended runs between roll changes and is made to produce clear, sharp text and simple graphics on common label materials. The ribbon is formulated to provide consistent ink laydown and is suitable for general-purpose labeling tasks where readable barcodes, text and routine images are required.

Advantages

The wax formulation delivers high print contrast on standard paper and coated papers while maintaining good printhead compatibility and reduced wear. A 450 m length lowers the frequency of roll replacements, supporting uninterrupted printing workflows. The 13.1 cm width covers a wide range of label sizes and the black pigment offers reliable readability for scanning and human inspection. The ribbon design allows straightforward installation in compatible Zebra thermal transfer printers.

Suitable for

• Shipping and logistics labels
• Product identification and retail price tags
• Inventory and warehouse location labels
• General office or administrative labeling tasks

Key specifications

• Ribbon type: Wax thermal transfer
• Colour: Black
• Length: 450 m
• Width: 13.1 cm
• Compatibility: Designed for use with compatible Zebra thermal transfer printers
• Print characteristics: High contrast for text and simple graphics

How to use

Install the ribbon into the thermal transfer printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions for ribbon loading and orientation. Use label stock recommended for wax ribbons — typically uncoated or lightly coated papers — to achieve optimal print quality. Adjust printer settings such as print speed and print density to balance print clarity and ribbon consumption; perform a test print after installation and make incremental adjustments if necessary. Replace the ribbon when the print density decreases or the ribbon is fully depleted.

Recommendations

Store sealed rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. For durable barcode performance, avoid using this wax ribbon on highly synthetic or glossy materials where smudging or poor adhesion may occur; consider more durable resin or wax-resin ribbons for heavy-duty or outdoor-exposed labels.
