How to use

Inspect the respirator before each use, ensuring the facepiece, valves and straps are intact and clean. Fit the facepiece over nose and mouth, adjust the head straps for a snug, leak-free seal, and perform a user seal check according to the manufacturer’s routine (cover filter inlet and inhale/exhale to detect leaks). Install appropriate filters or cartridges for the specific airborne hazard, following the attachment instructions supplied with the filters. After use, remove filters/cartridges if required, clean the facepiece with mild detergent and water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry completely before storage.

Recommendations

Use the respirator only with filter elements and cartridges suitable for the identified contaminants. Replace filters and cartridges according to exposure levels, breathing resistance, or manufacturer guidance. Store the respirator in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not modify the facepiece or straps, and follow workplace respiratory protection program procedures including fit testing and training.
