Access point Grandstream GWN7670WM Wi-Fi 7 802.11be

The Grandstream GWN7670WM Wi‑Fi 7 802.11be access point delivers next‑generation wireless connectivity designed for dense business environments. Supporting the 802.11be standard, this access point enables higher throughput, reduced latency, and improved spectral efficiency. It incorporates 2x2:2 MIMO radio chains and supports up to 256 concurrent client associations while offering a 2.5G Ethernet WAN/LAN port for faster wired backhaul and flexible deployment options.

Advantages

The GWN7670WM combines Wi‑Fi 7 capabilities with enterprise‑grade features to provide scalable performance and reliable coverage. Its 2x2:2 MIMO design and 802.11be support improve multi‑user throughput and wireless efficiency. A 2.5G Ethernet interface enables higher capacity uplinks compared with standard Gigabit ports, and support for a large number of simultaneous clients helps maintain stable connections in busy offices or public venues. The unit is compatible with central management systems to simplify monitoring and configuration.

Suitable for

• Small and medium-sized office networks requiring high wireless throughput
• Conference rooms and meeting spaces with multiple simultaneous users
• Retail spaces, lounges, and public areas with heavy client density
• Hybrid work environments where stable Wi‑Fi and wired backhaul are needed

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) compatibility
• Radio configuration: 2x2:2 MIMO
• Maximum concurrent clients: up to 256
• Wired interface: 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet WAN/LAN port
• Deployment: ceiling or wall mountable access point
• Security: supports modern wireless security protocols and enterprise authentication methods

How to use

Install the access point in a central location with minimal obstructions to achieve optimal coverage. Connect the unit to your network using the 2.5G Ethernet port and power it according to your site plan (PoE if supported by the infrastructure, or local power where applicable). Use the management console or controller software compatible with Grandstream devices to provision SSIDs, security settings, radio parameters and client access policies. Monitor client counts and performance metrics through the management interface and adjust channel and power settings as needed to reduce interference.

Recommendations

For best results in high-density environments, enable features that improve multi‑user performance, place access points to minimize overlap and interference, and ensure the wired backhaul uses the 2.5G link for aggregated traffic. Regularly update firmware and use centralized management to maintain consistent security and performance across deployments.
