Access Point UBIQUITI U7 Pro — Tri-Band Wi‑Fi 7 (2,4/5/6 GHz), 5400 Mbit/s, MU‑MIMO, PoE, montaggio a soffitto/parete

The Ubiquiti U7 Pro is a ceiling-mounted WiFi 7 access point that supports 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands and provides up to 5400 Mbit/s aggregate data rate. Designed for demanding, large-scale environments, the unit offers six spatial streams, advanced security protocols (PPSK, WPA, WPA2, WPA3) and multi-gig Ethernet connectivity for reliable wired backhaul. The compact white housing and low maximum power consumption (21 W) suit modern network deployments in enterprise, education and public venues.

Advantages

The access point delivers interference-free operation on the 6 GHz band while maintaining compatibility with existing 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz clients. Six spatial streams increase concurrent client capacity and throughput. Built-in support for PPSK and WPA3 improves network security, and a 1-port Ethernet interface with 1 Gbit/s and 2.5 Gbit/s link speeds enables fast wired connections and flexible integration into existing infrastructures.

Suitable for

• High-density public areas (airports, conference centres, auditoriums)
• Enterprise environments and office floors
• Large education campuses and lecture halls
• Hospitality venues and large indoor event spaces

How to use

Mount the U7 Pro on a ceiling using manufacturer-recommended hardware, connect the device to the network switch using a CAT5e or better Ethernet cable, and provide PoE or local power according to installation requirements. Use the Ubiquiti management interface or controller software to adopt the access point, configure SSIDs, security settings (including PPSK/WPA3 if required), channel planning and band steering. Monitor performance and client associations through the controller dashboard and apply firmware updates when available.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in high-density deployments, enable the 6 GHz band where client support exists, perform site surveys to determine placement and channel allocation, and use multi-gig uplinks to avoid wired bottlenecks.
