ACT 1,8 m cavo di collegamento seriale 9 poli D-Sub femmina a 25 poli D-Sub maschio

The ACT 1.8 metre serial connection cable is a 1:1 wired extension cable with molded connectors, featuring a DB25 male connector on one end and a DB9 female connector on the other. The beige, 1.8 m cable is designed for serial communication between devices that use D-sub connectors and provides a straightforward wired connection for data transfer.

Advantages

The cable offers a fixed 1:1 wiring configuration that preserves signal mapping between DB25 and DB9 connectors, and molded connectors improve strain relief and connector durability. Its 1.8 m length gives moderate reach for desktop and equipment-rack setups while maintaining a simple, reliable connection for serial peripherals.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial devices with DB25 and DB9 D-sub interfaces
• Extending or adapting serial ports on PCs, routers, or industrial equipment
• Use in office, laboratory, or light industrial environments where 1.8 m cable length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable type: Serial extension cable, 1:1 wired
• Connectors: DB25 male to DB9 female
• Length: 1.8 metres

How to use

Connect the DB25 male end to the corresponding DB25 serial port on the source device and attach the DB9 female end to the DB9 serial port of the target device. Ensure connectors are aligned and seated fully; secure any thumbscrews if present. Use the cable in environments where the 1.8 m length provides adequate clearance and avoid routing near high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors before use and avoid excessive bending near the molded ends. For long-term installations, periodically check connector tightness and cable condition to maintain reliable serial communication.
