ACT 10 metri cavo in fibra ottica Multimode 50/125 OM3 duplex robusto con connettori SC

ACT OM3 Multimode Fiber Cable, 10 m with SC connectors, is a duplex 50/125 µm ruggedized patch cable designed for high-speed short-range networks. The cable uses OM3 grade multimode fiber with UPC polish on the SC connectors and is intended for reliable data transmission with reduced signal loss in indoor and controlled outdoor installations.

Advantages

Each cable is supplied with an individual test report documenting insertion loss (IL) and return loss (RL), and end-faces are 100% inspected to ensure connector quality. Laser-precision cleaving and Grade A‑m fiber provide consistent optical performance, while the UPC polish on SC connectors improves return loss characteristics.

Suitable for

• Data centre short-reach links
• Campus and LAN backbone connections
• Equipment patching between switches and transceivers

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Fiber type: Multimode OM3 (50/125 µm)
• Configuration: Duplex
• Connectors: SC (UPC polish)
• Quality: Grade A-m fiber
• Tests: Individual IL and RL test report, 100% end-face inspection

How to use

Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by the installer or manufacturer. Insert SC connectors into compatible SC ports until they click or seat fully. For duplex connections, observe correct transmit/receive pairing as required by the equipment. Use the provided test report to verify performance after installation.

Recommendations

Handle connectors by the boot or connector body to avoid contaminating end-faces; clean end-faces with approved fiber cleaning tools before connecting. Store unused cable ends with dust caps installed to protect connector end-faces.
