ACT 3 metri LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM2 cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex con connettori SC e ST

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex SC ST 3m is a 3-meter multimode fiber assembly using 50/125 µm OM2 fiber with SC connector on one end and ST connector on the other. This full-duplex cable delivers high-speed data transmission for short- to medium-range links and is manufactured with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket to reduce toxic fumes and smoke in confined spaces. The cable is suitable for structured cabling in data centers, telecom rooms and network closets where reliable multimode links are required.

Advantages

This fiber patch cable combines the stability of multimode OM2 fiber with a durable LSZH jacket that limits smoke and halogen release in the event of fire. The duplex construction supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels for bidirectional communication, while the SC and ST connectors provide wide compatibility with equipment using either connector type. The 3 m length gives flexibility for patching between nearby racks or panels without excess slack.

Suitable for

• Connecting optical equipment with SC and ST ports in LAN and campus networks
• Patching between fiber panels, switches and media converters in data centers
• Short- to medium-range multimode links for voice, video and data applications
• Installations requiring low smoke and halogen-free cabling

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM2 (50/125 µm)
• Connector configuration: Duplex (SC to ST)
• Length: 3 meters
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Polish/type: Factory-terminated multimode connectors
• Transmission: Full duplex optical link for Tx/Rx

How to use

Route the cable through cable management pathways to avoid tight bends; adhere to the minimum bend radius specified by multimode 50/125 fiber standards. Align and insert the SC connector into the SC adapter or port until it latches securely, and insert the ST connector into the ST port with a quarter-turn bayonet engagement. Verify proper mating and secure any excess cable to strain-relief points. After connection, test the link using appropriate fiber testers or verify network connectivity through equipment diagnostics.

Recommendations

Maintain clean connector end-faces by inspecting and, if necessary, cleaning with appropriate fiber-cleaning tools before making connections. Avoid sharp bends, pulling on the connectors, or exposing the cable to sources of mechanical damage. Use this 3 m duplex SC–ST cable for short patching runs within cabinets and racks where multimode OM2 performance and LSZH jacket characteristics are required.
