ACT arancione 3 metri U/UTP CAT5E cavo patch con connettori RJ45

The ACT Orange 3 meter U/UTP CAT5E patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a 3 m networking cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections up to 100 MHz. Manufactured with UTP CAT5E construction and AWG#24 conductors, the cable provides stable signal transmission for standard local area network applications. Its bright orange PVC jacket (RAL 2000) makes cable runs easy to trace and organize in patch panels, racks, and workstations.

Advantages

Gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 connectors improve conductivity and reduce signal loss at connector interfaces. The U/UTP CAT5E design supports balanced twisted pairs for reduced crosstalk and consistent performance over the specified bandwidth. The 3 meter length balances reach and manageability for typical desk-to-switch or equipment-to-patch-panel connections, while the PVC sheath offers basic mechanical protection and flexibility for indoor installations.

Suitable for

• Desktop PC to wall socket or switch connections
• Patch panel to switch connections in data cabinets
• Office network cabling and small business LANs
• Cable identification and color-coded cable management

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5E U/UTP
• Bandwidth: up to 100 MHz
• Length: 3 meters
• Conductor size: AWG 24
• Jacket material: PVC
• Jacket color: orange (RAL 2000)
• Connector type: RJ45 with gold-plated contacts

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network device (PC, switch, router) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the patch panel, wall outlet, or another network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and high-tension points; leave service loops where access may be required. For installation in racks or cabinets, secure the cable with appropriate ties or cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this cable for indoor, standard-temperature environments and non-plenum installations. Keep the cable away from high-voltage power runs and strong electromagnetic sources to minimize interference. For structured cabling, combine color-coded patch cables to simplify identification and maintenance in patch panels and equipment racks.
