ACT cavo ottico attivo DisplayPort 1.4 8K da 25 metri con connettore rimovibile

The ACT Active Optical Cable DisplayPort 1.4 AK4153 in 25 meters is a high-bandwidth DisplayPort connection solution designed for long-distance video and audio transmission. Combining copper conductors with optical fiber, this AOC supports DisplayPort 1.4 features and is built to carry 8K signals (7680x4320) at 60Hz with 4:4:4 chroma. The cable comes on a coil and features a detachable connector head for simplified installation through conduits and plenum spaces. Its slim 4.5 mm diameter, Kevlar-protected fiber core and aluminium-foiled shielding offer a balance of flexibility, mechanical protection and low RFI/EMI for professional AV and display environments.

Advantages

The cable provides a sustained bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps (4:4:4) required for 8K @ 60Hz and supports HDR for improved contrast and color fidelity. Built-in support for HDCP 2.2, EDID, DDC and CEC ensures compatibility with a wide range of source devices and displays. Multi-channel audio formats including Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and ARC are supported, enabling high-quality audio transmission alongside video. The detachable connector and ultra-slim, flexible construction make routing and installation through tight spaces straightforward while maintaining signal integrity over long distances.

Suitable for

• Professional AV installations and digital signage with long cable runs
• High-resolution desktop and workstation displays requiring 8K @ 60Hz
• Conference rooms, control centers and broadcast setups
• Home theater systems needing high-bandwidth audio/video passthrough

How to use

Before installation, identify source and display ends by the markings on the cable to ensure correct orientation. If routing through conduits or plenum spaces, detach the removable connector head, pull the slim cable through the route and then reattach the connector. Connect the DisplayPort plug to the source device and the other end to the display. Power on devices and verify display resolution and audio settings; use the display or graphics card menu to select 8K @ 60Hz where supported. Ensure connectors are securely seated to maintain HDCP handshakes and EDID communication.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to preserve signal integrity; secure cable runs to avoid sharp bends and minimize tensile stress on the detachable connector. Use the detachable plug only for installation and ensure it is fully connected before powering devices. Confirm device compatibility with DisplayPort 1.4 features (HDCP 2.2, HDR) to achieve the expected 8K performance.
