ACT cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex LSZH multimodale 50/125 OM4 con connettori SC da 2 m

The ACT 2 meter LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM4 fiber patch cable with duplex SC connectors delivers reliable indoor connectivity for data centers and network installations. Designed for high-bandwidth applications, the cable features a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 multimode grading to support high-speed, low-loss data transmission. The LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke and halogen emissions in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed spaces and building cabling.

Advantages

The duplex SC connectors provide stable, easy-to-use plug-and-play connections for duplex communication. OM4 multimode fiber offers increased bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower multimode grades, while the 2 meter length fits typical patching requirements. The LSZH outer jacket improves safety for indoor deployments and helps meet building and site safety standards. ACT manufacture and quality control ensure consistent construction and performance.

Suitable for

• Data center patch panels and switch interconnects
• Server room horizontal and equipment connections
• Enterprise LAN backbone and riser cabling
• High-bandwidth multimode network links

How to use

Route the cable between the two SC-equipped ports on patch panels, transceivers, or switches, ensuring bend radius limits are respected to avoid signal loss. Align and insert each SC connector until it clicks into place; the duplex assembly supports standard duplex port spacing. For installations in trays or conduits, secure the cable without compressing the jacket and avoid sharp bends or kinks.

Recommendations

For best performance, use OM4-compatible transceivers and maintain proper connector cleanliness. Test end-to-end optical loss after installation and store spare cables in dry, dust-free conditions. Follow site safety rules for LSZH-rated cable handling and routing.
