ACT cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex LSZH multimodale 50/125 OM4 con connettori SC da 5 metri

ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex SC 5m LSZH Multimode 50/125 OM4 is a duplex fiber patch lead with SC connectors designed for indoor network and data centre cabling. The multimode 50/125 µm OM4 fibre supports high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions, making the cable suitable for installations where fire safety and low-toxicity materials are required.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable full-duplex connectivity via SC connectors and is constructed to meet common installation standards for performance and durability. The OM4 multimode core offers improved bandwidth and modal performance compared with lower-grade multimode types, while the LSZH outer jacket limits smoke and halogen output in case of fire. At 5 metres length, the patch cable is convenient for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel connections in data centres and telecom closets.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, servers and patch panels
• Data centre and server room cabling
• Telecommunications closets and indoor backbone links
• Short to medium multimode fibre runs requiring OM4 performance

How to use

Route the 5 m duplex SC patch cable between the desired equipment ports or patch panel ports, ensuring connectors are clean before making connections. Align and insert the SC connectors until they latch, and avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius while installed. For best performance, use with compatible OM4 multimode transceivers and maintain connector cleanliness using appropriate fibre cleaning tools.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean SC connectors before installation, avoid tight bends and excessive tension on the cable, and choose LSZH cable for indoor spaces where low smoke and halogen emissions are required by local safety codes.
