ACT Cavo patch in fibra ottica multimodale 50/125 OM3 duplex blindato da 20 metri con connettori LC

The ACT 20 meter multimode 50/125 OM3 duplex armored fiber patch cable is a full-duplex multimode link with LC connectors on both ends. Designed for data centers and network environments, it uses a 50 µm core OM3 fiber to support high-speed transmission. The cable's metal armor provides enhanced mechanical protection for installations exposed to harsh or industrial conditions.

Advantages

Armored construction offers superior resistance to crushing, rodent damage and abrasion compared with standard patchcords, while the OM3 50/125 multimode fiber supports high-bandwidth short-range links. Duplex LC terminations ensure easy plug-and-play connectivity in duplex-capable equipment. The 20 m length provides flexibility for routing between racks or across equipment bays.

How to use

Verify compatibility of LC duplex ports on equipment before installation. Route the armored patch cable along cable trays or conduits, avoiding sharp bends beyond the specified minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fiber. Insert LC connectors into corresponding duplex LC ports until they click; ensure proper polarity for transmit and receive channels. For best performance, keep connectors clean and protected when not in use.

Recommendations

Use the armored patch cable where additional mechanical protection is required; it is not intended for continuous outdoor exposure without proper conduit or protective routing. Clean connectors with approved fiber cleaning tools and inspect terminations periodically to maintain link performance.
