ACT cavo patch in fibra ottica multimodale 50/125 OM3 duplex corazzato 1,5 m con connettori LC

The ACT 1.5m Multimode 50/125 OM3 Duplex Armored LC fiber patch cable is a 1.5‑meter full duplex multimode cable with a 50 µm core and OM3 rating. It is fitted with LC connectors and features a metal armored jacket that protects the fiber from crushing, abrasion and other mechanical damage. The cable is intended for high‑speed data transmission in data centers, network installations and other demanding environments where extra physical protection is required.

Advantages

The armored construction provides enhanced mechanical protection compared with standard patchcords, reducing risk of damage in industrial, outdoor or confined routing paths. LC connectors ensure compact duplex connections suitable for high‑density installations, while the OM3 multimode specification supports high data rates over short to medium distances. The 1.5 m length offers flexible placement between equipment and patch panels.

How to use

Route the armored patch cable between equipment or from equipment to patch panels ensuring bend radius is maintained according to manufacturer guidance for multimode armored cables. Insert LC connectors into corresponding LC ports until they latch. Verify link integrity and signal levels after installation. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension during routing to preserve the armored jacket and internal fibers.

Recommendations

Use this armored OM3 LC duplex patch cable where additional mechanical protection is needed — for example in industrial corridors, external conduits or congested racks. For long runs or different link budgets consider appropriate multimode transceivers and verify OM3 reach and performance for your application.
