ACT cavo patch in fibra ottica multimodale 50/125 OM3 duplex corazzato 1 m con connettori LC

The ACT 1m Multimode 50/125 OM3 Duplex Armored with LC Connectors is a 1‑metre multimode fiber patch cable designed for reliable full‑duplex data transmission. It uses a 50 µm core diameter OM3 multimode fiber in a duplex configuration with dual LC connectors. A metal armor layer surrounds the cable to provide enhanced mechanical protection in demanding or harsh environments such as industrial sites, data centers and outdoor runs where extra resistance to crushing and impact is required.

Advantages

The armored construction increases resistance to physical damage, rodent bites and crushing while maintaining the optical performance of OM3 multimode fiber. Dual LC connectors offer compact, standardized connections for high‑density racks and equipment. The 1 m length provides a short, manageable link for patching within racks or between adjacent devices.

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before insertion. Route the armored patch cable along existing cable management paths to avoid sharp bends; ensure minimum bend radius is respected for multimode OM3 fiber. Insert LC connectors into compatible LC ports on transceivers, patch panels or switches until they click into place. For removal, press the connector latch and pull straight out. Do not apply excessive axial force to the cable or bend the armor beyond recommended limits.

Recommendations

The armored OM3 duplex patch cable is recommended where additional mechanical protection is required but fiber optical performance must be preserved. Use in controlled routing channels, avoid repeated tight bending, and clean connectors with appropriate fiber cleaning tools to maintain reliable connections.
