ACT Cavo patch LSZH SFTP CAT6 da 0,25 metri grigio con connettori RJ45

The ACT Grey 0.25m LSZH S/FTP CAT6 patch cable is a short network connection cable designed for reliable data transmission in confined spaces. It features gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces the release of toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire, making this 0.25 m CAT6 cable suitable for installations where low smoke and halogen-free behavior is required.

Advantages

Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and signal integrity. S/FTP shielding (shielded foil around each pair plus braided overall shield) minimizes crosstalk and external interference. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and halogen emissions in fire conditions, improving safety in poorly ventilated or enclosed environments. Its 0.25 m length is convenient for patching between closely spaced ports.

Suitable for

• Short connections between network ports in patch panels and switches
• Connecting devices in cramped or rack-mounted setups
• Environments where low smoke and zero halogen materials are required (e.g., transport, equipment cabinets)
• Home and office network patching where a short cable is preferred

How to use

Insert each gold-plated RJ-45 plug into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use the 0.25 m patch cable to connect adjacent ports on switches, patch panels or network devices where a short cable prevents cable clutter. Ensure both ends are fully seated and check link/activity LEDs on devices to verify a successful connection.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain bend radii recommended for Ethernet cables. Choose LSZH cables for installations in confined or poorly ventilated spaces and when compliance with low smoke/zero halogen requirements is needed.
