ACT cavo patch slimline LSZH S/FTP CAT7 1,5 m, snagless, nero (DF7951)

For network engineers and IT administrators who need high-performance connectivity in space-constrained environments, the ACT DF7951 delivers reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet over a slim, low-profile cable. Its 1.5-meter length is ideal for patching between adjacent devices in racks, wall outlets, or desktop setups where cable bulk must be minimized.

Key specifications

• Category 7 (CAT7) performance with 600 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP shielding: individual foil pairs plus overall braid for superior noise immunity
• Snagless boot protects RJ45 connector locking tabs during installation
• LSZH jacket: low smoke and halogen-free for safer indoor use
• 32 AWG bare copper conductors for flexibility and signal integrity
• Backward compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e, and Cat5 networks

Why choose it

The slimline design reduces cable diameter by up to 30% compared to standard CAT7 cables, allowing higher density in cable managers and easier routing through tight spaces. The snagless boot prevents accidental disconnection when moving cables, while the LSZH jacket meets strict fire safety requirements for public buildings, data centers, and offices.

Ideal use cases

• High-density patch panels in data centers
• Server-to-switch connections in racks
• Workstation connections in offices with fire safety regulations
• Home networks requiring future-proof 10GbE performance

Good to know

The cable is fully backward compatible, so it works with existing Gigabit Ethernet equipment while ready for 10GbE upgrades. Its black color blends discreetly into most environments, and the 1.5-meter length is perfect for short, tidy runs.
