The ACT Brown 15 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable (model IB1615) is a network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office environments. With AWG#24 conductors, RJ-45 connectors and 50µ gold-plated contacts, this cable supports high-speed data transmission up to 1 Gbps and is suitable for standard CAT6 networking setups.

Advantages

This CAT6 patch cable provides stable signal transmission thanks to its AWG#24 conductors and gold-plated contacts that reduce corrosion and improve contact reliability. The U/UTP construction and PVC sheath deliver a balance of flexibility and durability for typical indoor installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches and routers within homes or offices
• Wiring patch panels and wall outlets in structured cabling
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet connections for multimedia devices

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and areas with electrical interference. For best results, match cable length and routing to your network layout to minimize excess slack and trip hazards.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum. Use the cable indoors in environments within normal temperature and humidity ranges. Replace the cable if connectors show signs of wear or corrosion.
