ACT Cavo patch U/UTP CAT6A arancione 5 metri, senza linguetta con connettori RJ45

The ACT Orange 5 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a network cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home, office and data centre environments. Constructed to CAT6A performance, the cable supports elevated bandwidth and is suitable for applications that require stable connections up to 10 Gbps. Gold-plated contacts and snagless RJ45 connectors reduce signal loss and protect the plug during frequent insertion and removal. The bright orange jacket improves cable identification and makes routing and troubleshooting easier.

Advantages

This CAT6A patch cable offers extended bandwidth for demanding network tasks while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ45 ports. The gold-plated contacts help ensure consistent signal transfer and resist corrosion over time. Snagless connector boots protect the clip latch from damage and simplify installation in tight spaces. The unshielded U/UTP design provides a flexible, lightweight cable that is easy to route through cable management systems.

Suitable for

• 10 Gbps LAN connections between switches, patch panels and network devices
• High-speed workstation or server connections in office environments
• Home networking and AV setups requiring reliable Ethernet links
• Temporary cabling and test setups where quick identification is useful

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Category: CAT6A
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ45 to RJ45, snagless boots
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Supported data rates: up to 10 Gbps (depending on network equipment and conditions)
• Typical applications: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) and 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to the network port of the device and the other to a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and check link lights on devices to confirm a successful physical connection. For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending or kinking of the cable and keep cable runs within recommended lengths for your network topology. When routing through patch panels or cable managers, guide the cable gently and secure it without applying strong compression on the jacket.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6A U/UTP cable for short to medium length links where high throughput is required. Keep the cable separated from strong electromagnetic sources when possible and avoid tight coils or sharp bends to maintain signal integrity. For environments with high interference or longer runs, consider using shielded cables or alternative infrastructure that matches installation requirements.
