ACT cavo patch U/UTP CAT6A viola 15 metri protezione anti-piegamento con connettori RJ45

The ACT Purple 15m U/UTP CAT6A patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts is designed for high-speed network links where reliable performance and easy handling are required. At 15 meters in length and finished in purple, this cable supports CAT6A performance levels over standard copper cabling and is suitable for structured cabling, switch-to-switch, switch-to-patch panel, and workstation connections in office and data center environments.

Advantages

The unshielded/UTP (U/UTP) construction reduces susceptibility to local electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for routing in cable trays and conduits. Snagless RJ45 boots protect the connector latch during installation, helping to prevent accidental damage when pulling through tight spaces. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal transfer and resistance to corrosion, contributing to long-term stable connectivity. The distinctive purple jacket simplifies cable identification in mixed-cable environments.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet networks up to CAT6A performance
• Connecting switches, patch panels, routers and workstations
• Office, server room and data center cabling runs
• Environments requiring color-coded cable management

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Cable category: CAT6A performance
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall, U/UTP twisted pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless boots
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Purple

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring appropriate bend radius and avoiding sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Plug each RJ45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Use cable management accessories or color-coded pathways to keep runs organized and to simplify troubleshooting. For runs near high-power electrical cables or in industrial settings consider increasing separation distance to reduce potential crosstalk or interference.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors before installation for any visible damage. Do not exceed recommended bend radius and avoid sharp kinks. For permanent horizontal cabling in commercial installations, follow local cabling standards and testing procedures after installation to verify performance at CAT6A levels.
