ACT grigio 15 metri LSZH S/FTP CAT6A cavo patch con connettori RJ45 e protezione leva

The ACT Grey 15 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a 15 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and patching environments. It combines S/FTP shielding, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts to provide consistent signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required.

Advantages

This CAT6A patch cable provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference through its S/FTP construction, which includes individually shielded pairs and an overall foil shield. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and removal, while gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure reliable connectivity. The LSZH outer jacket helps limit smoke and halogen emissions in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to CAT6A performance levels
• Patch panels, switches and routers in server rooms and data closets
• Environments requiring low smoke and halogen-free cabling (aircraft interiors, public transport, confined spaces)
• Offices and commercial installations where reduced interference is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6A (suitable for 10GBASE-T)
• Length: 15 meters
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually screened twisted pairs with overall foil shield)
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector type: RJ45 snagless plug
• Contacts: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Typical use: horizontal and patch cabling for high-speed networks

How to use

Connect the RJ45 plugs to compatible Ethernet ports on network devices such as switches, patch panels, routers or network interface cards. Ensure that connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to guarantee a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension or contact with sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For installations in racks or conduits, maintain proper bend radius as specified by networking best practices to preserve signal performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT6A S/FTP cable in applications requiring 10 Gbps or lower Ethernet speeds and where reduced interference and low-smoke materials are preferred. Avoid tight bending and repeated flexing; inspect connectors for debris before installation. In enclosed or poorly ventilated areas, the LSZH jacket provides reduced toxic gas emission in fire scenarios, but follow local building and safety codes for cable routing and fire protection.
