ACT grigio 2 metri S/FTP CAT6A IDC 4PPoE / PoE++ 100W LSZH cavo patch, con protezione linguette con connettori RJ45

The ACT Grey 2m RJ45 Cat6a S/FTP patch cable is a 2-meter Cat6a network cable with S/FTP shielding, 24AWG solid copper conductors and LSZH jacket. It is designed for high-speed data transmission and 4PPoE / PoE++ 100W applications, providing a single-cable solution between high-power PoE switches and devices such as security cameras or access points. The cable uses 50µ gold-plated RJ45 contacts attached by Insulation Displacement Contact (IDC) method and conforms to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D.

Advantages

The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, making the cable suitable for plenum spaces and raised floors. Solid 24AWG copper conductors combined with IDC-mounted gold-plated contacts ensure low electrical resistance and stable signal and power delivery for 4PPoE 100W environments. S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference.

Suitable for

• Connecting PoE++ / 4PPoE (100W) network switches to security cameras
• Powering and networking access points supporting 100W PoE
• High-speed Ethernet connections in server rooms, wiring closets and structured cabling
• Installations in plenum spaces and raised access floors where low-smoke, zero-halogen materials are required

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Category: Cat6a (ANSI/TIA-568.2-D)
• Conductor: 24AWG solid copper
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connectors: RJ45 to RJ45, 50 µ gold-plated contacts, IDC termination
• PoE support: 4PPoE / PoE++ up to 100W (Type 4)
• Colour: Black, Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a compatible PoE++ / 4PPoE network switch and the other end to the powered device such as an IP camera or access point. Ensure both the switch and the device support 4PPoE (Type 4) 100W operation. Route the cable according to local installation practices, avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For structured cabling, observe bend radius and secure the cable in patch panels or keystone jacks where required.

Recommendations

Use the ACT Cat6a S/FTP 2m cable for short runs where 100W 4PPoE power delivery is needed; verify equipment compatibility with 4PPoE and maintain correct installation practices (minimum bend radius, strain relief) to ensure long-term performance and low resistance connections.
