ACT marrone 1 metro LSZH U/UTP CAT6 cavo patch Slimline per data center senza protezione del fermo con connettori RJ45

ACT Brown 1 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slimline data center Ethernet cable that offers a reduced diameter (3.8 mm) compared with standard CAT6 patch cords. The smaller diameter and lower bending radius improve airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The cable is LSZH and uses gold-plated contacts for reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

The slim 28 AWG construction provides space savings in dense cabling environments while maintaining CAT6 performance over short patch runs. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the latch during installation. The LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, and gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability.

How to use

Connect the snagless RJ45 plug into the switch, patch panel or network device until the latch clicks. Route the 1 m patch cable through the rack or cabinet, respecting the cable's bending radius to avoid excessive attenuation. Use the cable for short patch runs inside racks or between adjacent equipment; avoid long horizontal runs where higher attenuation from 28 AWG conductors could affect signal margin.

Recommendations

For Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments, limit bundled groups to a maximum of 24 slimline cables to prevent excessive temperature rise; this follows ACT guidance and helps keep temperature increase under the ANSI TSB-184-A recommendation of less than 15 °C above ambient for the centre cable in a bundle.
