ACT RL7120 cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand 20 m 2x LC 2x LC ODVA nero

The ACT RL7120 is a 20 m OM3 fibre optic patch cable with 2x LC connectors on both ends and an ODVA-style IP67 connector option for outdoor use. With a 50 µm core diameter and full-duplex 2x LC termination, this cable supports high-speed links between antennas (RRH / RRU) and ground cabling in mobile base stations, Wi‑Fi deployments and other wireless internet infrastructures where weatherproof connections are required.

Advantages

IP67-rated connector options provide water- and dust-resistant connections suitable for outdoor antenna installations. OM3 multimode fibre with 50 µm core supports higher data rates needed for modern Wi‑Fi and mobile systems. Using fibre to the antenna (FTTA/FTTT) enables distributed antenna systems (DAS), reduces active equipment and power in base stations, and allows smaller, multiple antennas to connect to the same equipment.

How to use

Route the cable between the outdoor antenna (RRH/RRU) and the indoor or ground-side patch panel, ensuring both LC terminations are securely seated in compatible LC ports. If using an IP67-style ODVA connector, verify that the connector is fully mated and the sealing mechanism engaged to maintain weatherproofing. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable along its path to prevent strain on the connectors and fibre.

Recommendations

Choose the IP67 ODVA connector version for exposed outdoor installations; for alternative connector types or cable diameters (SC, MTP/MPO, 5/7 mm or armored jackets), select the appropriate variant. All brand names referenced belong to their respective owners.
