ACT Rosa 0,25 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A cavo patch slimline datacenter con connettori RJ45, protezione linguetta

The ACT Pink 0.25m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a short, slimline datacenter Ethernet patch cord designed for high-speed data transfer and compact cable management. Constructed with individually foil-shielded pairs (U/FTP) and a low-smoke, zero-halogen jacket, this 0.25 metre cable combines reduced diameter and improved airflow characteristics with reliable signal integrity for use in dense rack and cabinet environments. The snagless RJ45 boots protect the connector latch during installation and the gold-plated contacts ensure stable electrical connection.

Advantages

This slimline CAT6A cable has a smaller diameter than regular CAT6A cords, which reduces bend radius and helps maintain better airflow inside server racks and network cabinets. The U/FTP construction minimizes crosstalk between pairs and the LSZH jacket reduces toxic fumes in the event of fire. Gold-plated contacts offer corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality, while the snagless boot protects the plug during repeated insertions and removals.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections inside racks and cabinets
• High-density data center and network cabinet installations
• Environments requiring low-smoke, zero-halogen cabling
• Applications needing shielded pairs to limit electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Length: 0.25 m
• Category: Cat6A, supporting frequencies up to 500 MHz
• Conductor diameter: slimline construction (approx. 3.8 mm cable diameter)
• Configuration: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Jacket type: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector: RJ45 with snagless boot
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Data centre optimised for improved airflow and reduced bend radius

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network switch, patch panel or device port and the other end to the corresponding port in the rack or cabinet to create a short patch link. Route the cable along existing cable management paths, avoiding sharp bends and pinch points. The slimline profile allows denser routing; nevertheless, respect the minimum bend radius of the cable during installation. For PoE deployments, follow manufacturer guidance on maximum bundling to limit temperature rise.

Recommendations

For PoE applications, limit cable bundles to a maximum of 24 parallel slimline cables to maintain acceptable temperature rise. Avoid excessive tension and tight wraps around corners; maintain recommended bend radius to reduce attenuation. Use in environments where LSZH materials are required for safety compliance. Note that slim 32 AWG-equivalent conductors may show higher attenuation at the highest frequencies compared with thicker conductors — verify channel length and performance requirements in your installation design.
