ACT rosso 1 metro cavo patch U/UTP CAT5E a livello di componenti con connettori RJ45

The ACT Red 1 meter U/UTP CAT5E patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a short network cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact installations. It uses AWG 24 conductors, PVC sheath and 50 µ gold-plated contacts for stable signal transmission. The U/UTP design reduces electromagnetic interference, and the red RAL 3031 color makes the cable easy to identify in patch panels or wiring runs.

Advantages

The cable provides CAT5E performance for Fast Ethernet and basic Gigabit applications, with 50 µ gold contacts to improve connector durability and contact quality. Its 1 m length is suitable for connections between nearby devices or in dense rack environments. The PVC sheath offers flexible handling and protection for everyday use, while the U/UTP construction limits external interference without the need for additional shielding.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in offices or home networks
• Patching between switch ports and patch panels in network racks
• Short connections in server cabinets or crowded workstations

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT5E
• Topology: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pairs with unshielded overall)
• Length: 1 m
• Conductors: AWG 24
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: 50 µ gold plated
• Sheath material: PVC
• Color: Red (RAL 3031)

How to use

Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the clip clicks to establish a secure connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable and route it away from strong sources of electrical interference.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m CAT5E patch cable for short, indoor Ethernet connections; replace the cable if the connector latch or sheath is damaged. For longer runs or environments with high electromagnetic interference, consider higher category or shielded cable types.
