ACT Viola 1 metro LSZH U/FTP CAT6A cavo patch slimline datacenter senza linguetta con connettori RJ45

ACT Purple 1 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter patch cable RJ45 is a slimline CAT6A U/FTP patch cord designed for data center use. With a 1 m length, snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts, the cable offers high-speed data transfer while its LSZH jacket reduces smoke and toxic emission in case of fire. The reduced diameter and improved bend radius make it suitable for dense rack and cabinet installations where airflow is important.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter U/FTP construction provides a lower bending radius compared to standard CAT6A patch cords, allowing improved airflow in server racks and network cabinets. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and the LSZH outer jacket minimizes smoke and hazardous gases. Although thinner conductors increase attenuation at higher frequencies, the design supports typical data center requirements when used within recommended limits.

Suitable for

• High-density data center and server rack cabling
• Patch panels and network cabinets with limited space
• Short horizontal connections (1 m) between switches and servers
• Environments requiring low-smoke, low-toxicity materials

Key specifications

• Standard: CAT6A U/FTP
• Length: 1 m
• Diameter: approx. 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC7301 / 8716065509953

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network device (switch, patch panel or server) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable following the rack or cabinet pathways and avoid sharp bends tighter than the cable's bend radius. For best performance, keep the cable length to the specified 1 m and separate it from strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

Use slimline 32 AWG cables only where space and airflow considerations outweigh increased attenuation; follow ACT guidance of a maximum bundle size of 24 cables for PoE applications to limit temperature rise. ANSI TSB-184-A recommends limiting temperature increase to less than 15 °C above ambient for the centre cable in a bundle.
