ACT Viola 10 metri LSZH U/FTP CAT6A cavo patch slimline datacenter senza linguetta con connettori RJ45

The ACT Purple 10 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is designed for high-speed data transmission in datacenter and network cabinet environments. Its slim 3.8 mm diameter reduces cable bulk and improves airflow in server racks compared with regular CAT6A patch cords. The U/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide reliable connectivity and protection against electromagnetic interference while the LSZH jacket limits hazardous smoke in enclosed spaces.

Advantages

The slimline construction offers a smaller bending radius and saves space in dense cable bundles, contributing to better rack airflow. U/FTP shielding enhances signal integrity in environments prone to interference. Snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts ensure durable, corrosion-resistant terminations. The LSZH jacket improves safety in datacenter and cabinet installations.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• High-speed links between switches, servers and patch panels in datacenters
• Dense cabling runs in network cabinets and server racks where space and airflow are critical
• Environments requiring reduced-smoke, low-halogen cable jacket

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6A U/FTP
• Length: 10 m
• Diameter: slimline ~3.8 mm (smaller than regular ~5.9 mm cords)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen)
• Colour: Purple
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC7310 / 8716065510003

How to use

Insert the snagless RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, patch panels or servers until the latch clicks. Route the slimline cable through cable management channels or rack trays, maintaining recommended bend radius for CAT6A where possible. For PoE deployments, follow bundling guidance to avoid excessive temperature rise.

Recommendations

Although standards typically reference 22–26 AWG patch cords, slimline datacenter cables may use thinner conductors (for example up to 32 AWG), which increases attenuation at higher frequencies. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications ACT advises limiting bundled PoE cable groups to a maximum of 24 cables to help keep temperature increase of the center cable below the 15 °C limit referenced in ANSI TSB-184-A.
