ACT Viola 5 metri LSZH U/FTP CAT6A cavo patch slimline datacenter senza linguetta con connettori RJ45

The ACT Purple 5 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter patch cable is a slimline Ethernet cable designed for high-density datacenter and network cabinet environments. With a 5 m length, LSZH jacket and U/FTP shielding, it supports high-speed data transfer while minimizing smoke emission in indoor installations. The cable uses snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent signal connection and durability during repeated use.

Advantages

This slimline CAT6A cable has a reduced diameter compared with standard CAT6A cords, which improves airflow in racks and cabinets and helps save space in dense installations. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer jacket lowers smoke and harmful gas output in case of fire, making it suitable for indoor datacenter use. U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, supporting reliable performance at higher frequencies.

Suitable for

• High-density datacenter patching and server rack connections
• Network cabinets and equipment closets where space and airflow are critical
• Indoor cabling runs where low smoke emission is required
• Connections between switches, patch panels and servers requiring CAT6A performance

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6A (U/FTP)
• Length: 5 meters
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector type: RJ45 snagless with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor gauge: slimline design (smaller diameter conductors for reduced overall cable diameter)
• Outer diameter: slimline profile (approximately 3.8 mm typical for slimline CAT6A)
• Shielding: overall foil with individually shielded pairs (U/FTP)
• Optimized for high-frequency data transmission (CAT6A performance)

How to use

Route the 5 m patch cable between network equipment such as switches, patch panels and servers, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ45 ports until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's bending radius and do not compress or kink the cable. For PoE deployments, follow manufacturer guidelines for power delivery and monitor bundle sizes to control heat buildup.

Recommendations

For PoE applications, limit bundling to recommended sizes — ACT advises a maximum bundle of 24 cables to minimize temperature rise. Maintain proper bend radius and avoid tight cable ties to preserve signal integrity. Use in indoor datacenter and network cabinet environments where LSZH properties and slimline dimensions improve safety and airflow.
