ACT Viola 7 metri LSZH U/UTP CAT6 cavo patch slimline datacenter con connettori RJ45 senza linguetta

ACT Purple 7 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slim-profile CAT6 Ethernet patch cord designed for data centre and network cabinet environments. With a 3.8 mm diameter conductor assembly it is narrower than standard CAT6 cables, reduces bend radius and improves airflow in server racks. The cable uses LSZH jacket material and U/UTP construction and is supplied with snagless RJ45 connectors for reliable connections over a 7 m length.

Advantages

The slimline design reduces cable diameter and bend radius, which helps to improve rack airflow and save space. The LSZH jacket minimises smoke and toxic gas emission in the event of a fire. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation. The cable meets CAT6 performance characteristics while offering a compact form factor suitable for dense installations.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches, patch panels and servers
• Network cabinets and high-density rack environments
• Horizontal and vertical cable management where space and airflow are critical

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6 U/UTP slimline patch cable
• Length: 7 m
• Conductor gauge: 28 AWG (slimline construction)
• Outer diameter: approx. 3.8 mm
• Jacket: LSZH
• Connectors: snagless RJ45 — both ends
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC9307 / 8716065510560

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cabinet cable management channels, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks. Insert RJ45 connectors into the appropriate switch, patch panel or server ports until the latch clicks. For neat installation, bundle and support the cable at regular intervals to prevent strain on connectors and to maintain airflow. Do not exceed the bending radius indicated by the cable design.

Recommendations

Although standards typically describe 22–26 AWG patch cords, this slimline cable uses 28 AWG conductors which may increase attenuation at higher frequencies. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments, limit bundled PoE cable bundles to a maximum of 24 cables to prevent excessive temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends that the center cable temperature increase remain below 15 °C above ambient.
