Adattatore Extralink SC/APC Single Mode Simplex verde

The Extralink Adapter SC/APC Single Mode Simplex Green is a precision-made fiber optic adapter designed for reliable connections in single-mode networks. Its SC/APC interface with angled physical contact supports low back-reflection and stable signal transmission. The green body denotes single-mode APC compatibility and the adapter is supplied as a single piece for use in patchcords and fiber panels.

Advantages

Manufactured with attention to quality, the adapter provides consistent connector alignment and durable mechanical performance. The SC/APC angled contact reduces reflection at the mating interface, contributing to improved optical performance in single-mode links. Its simplex design occupies minimal panel space and the uncoated contact ensures direct physical contact between ferrules.

How to use

Insert the SC/APC patchcord plug into the adapter until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Align mating connectors carefully to avoid damaging ferrules. For installation in panels or wall plates, fix the adapter in the appropriate cutout and secure according to the panel manufacturer’s instructions. When disconnecting, pull the connector straight out to prevent bending or twisting the fiber.

Recommendations

Store and handle the adapter and associated fiber connectors in a clean environment; use dust caps when connectors are not mated and clean ferrules with appropriate fiber cleaning tools to maintain optical performance.
