APC mensola fissa 50lbs/22.7kg nero

The APC AR8105BLK is a durable metal rack shelf designed to provide stable, convenient storage for network and IT equipment. With a width of 483 mm and a maximum depth of 406 mm, the shelf accommodates a variety of devices and accessories. Its 89 mm height offers a low-profile mounting option, and the black finish integrates into server rooms and equipment racks while maintaining a professional appearance.

Advantages

The metal construction delivers reliable strength and long-term durability for mounting peripherals and non-rack-mountable hardware. The specified width and depth allow compatibility with standard 19-inch rack enclosures while providing enough surface area for switches, small UPS units, patch panels, and other components. A DC-powered design supports installations where DC power is available and preferred. The slim 89 mm height conserves rack space and enables flexible placement within the cabinet.

Suitable for

• Mounting switches, routers and small networking devices
• Holding patch panels, cable management hardware and accessories
• Supporting small UPS units or power modules compatible with the shelf size
• Temporary placement of laptops, tools or diagnostic equipment during maintenance

How to use

Install the rack shelf into a compatible 19-inch equipment rack following the rack enclosure manufacturer’s mounting instructions. Position the shelf at the required rack unit location and secure it with appropriate rack screws and cage nuts or tool-less mounting hardware as supported by the cabinet. Once secured, place equipment on the shelf within the specified depth and width limits to ensure even weight distribution. Route cables to avoid strain on connectors and to maintain airflow in the rack.

Recommendations

Ensure the total weight of devices placed on the shelf does not exceed the rack enclosure’s rated load for the mounting position. Use additional support or shelving if heavier equipment is required. Verify DC power compatibility of any powered devices placed on the shelf and maintain clearance for ventilation to prevent overheating.
