PC cases with poor airflow can cause overheating, throttling, and premature component failure. The ARCTIC P8 PWM PST 5-pack solves this by providing five high-static-pressure 80 mm fans that push cool air through dense heatsinks, radiators, and drive cages, keeping your system stable under load.

Who is it for

System builders and upgraders who need multiple reliable fans for small form factor cases, server chassis, or CPU coolers. The 5-pack offers a cost-effective way to equip an entire build with matching fans.

Main features

  • PWM Sharing Technology (PST) lets you daisy-chain all five fans from a single motherboard header, reducing cable clutter.
  • Fluid Dynamic Bearing ensures quiet operation and a long lifespan of 300,000 hours.
  • Optimised for static pressure (1.8 mm H₂O) to force air through restrictive spaces.
  • Wide speed range from 200 to 3000 RPM, balancing cooling performance and noise.
  • Black frame with white blades for a clean, neutral look that fits most builds.

Specifications

  • Fan size: 80 mm
  • Speed: 200–3000 RPM (PWM controlled)
  • Airflow: 31.0 CFM (52.7 m³/h)
  • Static pressure: 1.8 mm H₂O
  • Noise level: 0.3 Sone
  • Bearing: Fluid Dynamic Bearing
  • Connector: 4-pin PWM
  • Rated voltage: 12 V DC
  • Rated current: 0.08 A
  • Cable length: 400 mm (main), 50 mm (PST)
  • Dimensions per fan: 80 x 80 x 25 mm
  • MTTF: 300,000 hours
  • Warranty: 6 years

Tips

For best results, mount two fans as intake at the front and one as exhaust at the rear. Use the PST feature to control all fans from one header, but ensure your motherboard can supply enough current for five fans (total 0.4 A).

Giudizio: The ARCTIC P12 PWM PST 120 mm fan comes in multiple colors and costs $9.99 from the ARCTIC Amazon store, with pricing in Europe being slightly more at €10.49 (inc.VAT) from the ARCTIC store. The non-PST version costs slightly less, and a 5-pack can be ha...

Pro
  • Fantastic value for money
  • Decent performance across the board
  • Will likely do even better as a case/heatsink fan
  • Can help those who prioritize noise by offering good low fan speed performance
  • Extremely linear RPM response allows easy fan curve setup
  • L
Contro
  • Fan sound is higher-pitched at lower fan speeds
  • Performance at higher fan speeds could be better
  • Daisy-chaining could be more elegant
