The DIGITUS Dynamic-N 9U wall-mounted rack cabinet is a compact 19" enclosure designed for network and telecom installations in server room edges, wiring closets and small IT spaces. It offers a 600 mm width and 450 mm depth, IP20 protection and lockable safety glass front door with a steel frame. The cabinet is supplied unassembled to optimise transport and storage and features adjustable 19" profile rails at front and rear, pre-punched cable entries and ventilation provisions for passive or active cooling.

Advantages

The cabinet combines a robust sheet-steel construction with readably marked, depth-adjustable 483 mm (19") profile rails, enabling straightforward mounting of switches, patch panels and other 19" equipment. A 1-point key lock on the front door and earthing points help secure and ground installed components. When it may not be suitable

Also, the cabinet is supplied unassembled, so time for assembly on site should be allowed.

How to use

Mount the supplied wall plate to a suitable load-bearing wall following the enclosed installation instructions, then fix the cabinet housing to the plate. Assemble the cabinet panels and doors as shown in the manual. Fit the 19" equipment onto the adjustable galvanized profile rails, using the height markings to position devices. Route cables through the pre-punched entries in the roof, base or rear and use the ventilation provisions or install a fan module if active cooling is required. Ensure all earthing points are connected and lock the front door with the supplied key after installation.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Place heavier devices lower in the cabinet to maintain stability on the wall mount, secure all earthing points and distribute cabling to avoid obstructing airflow. If the installation site is exposed to dust, moisture or higher mechanical risk, consider a cabinet with a higher IP rating or a floor-mounted solution.
