ASUS PCE-AXE5400 scheda WLAN interna – PCIe, Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band (2,4/5/6 GHz), 2402 Mbit/s, Bluetooth 5.2

The ASUS PCE-AXE5400 is an internal WLAN PCI‑Express card that adds WiFi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 to desktop PCs. It supports tri‑band operation (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz), a maximum wireless data rate of 2402 Mbit/s on compatible links, and is designed to install in a PCI‑Express x1 slot. The adapter includes two external antennas for improved signal reception and supports modern network security with WPA3.

Advantages

The PCE-AXE5400 provides access to the new 6 GHz band, which offers additional 160 MHz channels and reduced congestion compared with legacy bands. With WiFi 6E and wide 160 MHz channels it can deliver significantly higher throughput than WiFi 5 devices. Integrated OFDMA and MU‑MIMO increase network efficiency and lower latency when multiple devices are active. The built‑in Bluetooth 5.2 delivers improved speed and range for peripherals, and WPA3 offers enhanced wireless security.

Suitable for

• High‑bandwidth gaming and livestreaming on desktop PCs
• Large file transfers and cloud backups over fast wireless links
• Homes and offices seeking less congested wireless channels using 6 GHz
• Connecting Bluetooth peripherals such as headsets, mice and keyboards

Recommendations

For best performance on the 6 GHz band use a compatible WiFi 6E router and enable 160 MHz channels where supported; ensure the adapter is installed in a PCI‑Express x1 slot as specified. To benefit from OFDMA and MU‑MIMO features, pair the card with a router that supports WiFi 6 functions. Keep drivers updated to maintain security and compatibility.
